the good part - adding to national integration, changing attitudes, finally people have to confront their hypocritical insides that wrong is indeed wrong.
the ok part - asking for a tough billl.
the uncomfortable part - the implementation, anna is like proposing 8G, when the technology (the levels of probity, professionalism, environment and attitude) only allows for 4G, with people currently using 2G. The govt relented and came up with 4G, but then people are ambitious. Now as an editorial warns, we don't want such a huge and powerful Lokpal which will add to the burden of people by adding another slice to the bribe sub-parts - the huge Lokpal slice, this way we would make corruption more ubiquitous, and then there would be no hope, as all hope would be diminished. So, people should try and implement 4G, may be press for 5G but should not become over ambitious put all their resources by finalizing on 8G and then getting frustrated and burned up by the shabby implementation... it will always be shabby!!! so we should remember mountains are climed one step at a time.

But again as I said, the best part self cleansing of people and an attitude reboot for the country, kudos to Anna

And yeah!! the lack of violence is inspiring, finally years of schooling is showing benefits, finally people know what gandhi ji wanted, they feel its possible. All the people who oppose the saintly representation of Gandhi ji, should now realize, he is the power that makes such peaceful large scale protests possible.

And that brings to the point, as former CEC pointed out, India may be facing problems now, but the idealism we are teaching our children and the open and free space are we giving to our youth the country will always remain on the right path.

and it is!!!

ok now my comment would become longer than your blog.

:)
jai hind... India is indeed a great abstraction, a great experiment, a great reality , a beautiful set of contradictions, so much so that it sometimes sounds synonymous to life.

Hi monkey,
good piece of work man!

It reminds me of this one quote on facebook:

"lets be incorruptible ourselves first, before questioning the corrupts... otherwise saying "MAI ANNA HU" will only lead to identity crisis..." courtesy a friend Arjyajyoti.

having seen the quotation of rabbinate Tagore i remembered the word's of great scientist Einstein about science and religion:"science is lame without religion and religion is blind without science"what's a beautiful relation between science and religion.both terms are interdependent.Sanskrit is known as god language.it plays a vital role in India's science.hence we can say that culture proves important tool in advancement of science.once upon a time when India tops in the field of science and technology mention by need ham 's question in prominent book.which focused on science &technology( with special reference to india and china).

Not a surprise considering the rate at which our countrymen have been procreating. In a sense, brain drain is good, as people taking jobs abroad implies more openings for other qualified people who would be rickshaw drivers otherwise.
